Bills of lading, 1772 Apr.-1773 Oct., itemizing goods sent by the firm of Phyn & Ellice to be shipped to various persons at [Fort] Ontario, Niagara Landing, and Fort Erie, and receipted by the boatmen hired to deliver them, with occasional agreements to pick up or deliver goods at various locations along the Mohawk River. Some of the persons to whom goods were consigned were William Constable, James Sterling, James Phyn, Abraham Alby, and Stedman & Duffin.
